Coleman Street and Bassishaw Wards in the City of London, the area bounded by Gresham St, Moorgate, and London Wall. Blackwell Hall, the building now known as the Guildhall is illustrated in miniature, as is the Bethlehem Hospital, the original 'Bedlam'. The area now dominated by Finsbury Circus is shown as open ground, and labeled as the lower quarters of Moorfields.



Many of the original medieval guild halls were located in this area, including Brasiers Hall, Girdlers Hall, Weavers Hall, Coopers Hall, and Founders Hall, all of which are marked and illustrated on this map. Large vignettes of the churches of St. Stephen Coleman Street and St. Michael Bassishaw fill the empty borders of the map.
