Plan of the Battle of Krasnoi (16th, 17th, & 18th November, 1812) during the Napoleon's retreat from Moscow. Shows the positions of the French and Russian armies, differentiating between infantry, cavalry, and artillery.
The Battle of Krasnoi was one of the final engagements during the French retreat from Moscow and marked a decisive victory for the Russian forces. Despite saving much of the core of his army from destruction, Napoleon was forced to abandon most of his remaining artillery and supplies.
