Separately issued folding map promoting travel to the region of the western Alps. The map is titled after two old regions, Dauphine and Savoy, now no longer extant.
The focus of the map is no sightseeing, travelling and sites of interest. A key on the upper left lists railroads, roads and tracks. The reverse bears panels outlining sites of interest in specific areas within the map.
The map was commissioned by the "Syndicat Generale des Alpes Francaises" from Art Institut Orell Fussli, Switzerland's oldest publicly traded company established in 1519.
Original colour. Image of reverse available on request. [FR3482]
