Central part of South America, including parts of modern Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil.

The map is dominated by the River Plate and its many tributaries. At this time, the borders between the multiple Spanish provinces are nebulous. In fact a large text panel refers to a Jesuit Mission, which apparently could "assemble 60000 well disciplined men in a few days for their defence"; it goes on to state that this was "against ye Spaniards and Portuguese in case of an attack of whom they keep themselves independent."
