Il Paese de Cherachesi, con la Parte Occidentali Della Carolina Settentrionale, E Della Virginia
The confluences of the Ohio River, Missouri River, and Mississippi River in the border region of Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee. The site of modern-day St. Louis can be found in the upper-left where the three rivers converge. As this map pre-dates American Independence, Tennessee is still shown as part of North Carolina's land grant, and all of the land which is now Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is still part of the Virginia Colony's land grant. Thomas Walker's cabin, the first European building constructed in Kentucky, is marked on the map as well. Original hand-colour. [USA7108]
