Vintage map of Barbados adapted from Admiralty charts.
Anderson moved to Barbados in 1933, where she and her husband quickly became active in the local academic community. She was one of the founder members of the Museum and Historical Society of Barbados. She and her husband collaborated in mapping the roads of the island and adapted the network onto Admiralty Charts, the main form of cartography for the island. R. Bruce Moulder was a long-time resident of the island and contributed to the compilation of this map. The roads are marked in a bold red and there is a large inset of Bridgetown on the upper right. More features useful to the visitor or traveller, such as hotels and petrol stations are keyed on the lower right.
Original colour.
