Superb rendition of a survey of Bombay Harbour first performed in 1881-2 but with multiple revisions and updates to the last in 1950.

The finest and most accurate survey of Bombay Harbour performed mainly by Commander L. S. Dawson of the I.G.S. Investigator but the final chart also integrated the surveys of the Bombay Port Trust and the Royal India Marine. The result is a chart of stunning beauty with multiple vignettes of lighthouses as well as Khanderi Island; its long list of updates and revisions bear testament to its continued importance and use.
