Poster sized map of the modern Burgundy Nievres region in France published to promote the use of the L.M.P. railway company.
The L.M.P. was the "Paris a Lyon et a la Mediterranee" railway company. During the decade of the 1930s, it was famous for producing picturesque advertising posters and maps encouraging the public to use its services. It employed many important and famous artists, the most well-known being Roger Broders. The company was amalgamated into the S.N.F.C in 1938. Printed colour. Laid down on linen. SL [FR3271]
