Afrika
For its size, this charming miniature atlas map of the African Continent is an incredibly detailed.
Its insets include the Nile estuary, the Cape peninsula, the Congo, and the German colonies of Togo, Cameroon and German East Africa (now most of Tanzania).
The interior shows the great lakes and rivers of the continent as well as the boundaries of European territories. Around the coast, sailing routes of these European powers have been noted along with points of origin and journey times, measured in days.
