Beautiful map of the historic barony of Idrone in County Carlow. Every known city or town is illustrated and coloured red. Carlow (Catherlagh) and Leighlinbridge, the barony's two most important towns, are particularly well drawn with their important bridges across the River Barrow highlighted. Rivers, hills, and forests are also drawn on the map. The prominent title cartouche is decorated with fruit, suggesting that this region was wealthy and fruitful.
