The tallest mountain in the world on this map is on the right (eastern hemisphere), recorded at 29,002 feet. This was Mount Everest and amazingly, it was computed theoretically by Radhanath Sikhdar while working for the Great Trigonometrical Survey. The tallest mountain in the western hemisphere is shown as the volcano Ojos del Salado with a height of 22, 450 feet.
The longest river is believed to be the Mississippi.
