The lower left states that the map was compiled by the East African Survey Group and printed by the Federal Survey Company, initially in January 1944 and then again in April 1944. It focuses mainly on the roads, railways and major towns, including the infamous Burma Railway.
Its access status is marked as "Restricted" on the upper border.
