Velhagen & Klasing
39 x 49 cm
This map was issued within the Andrees Handatlas, named after one of its principal contributors, Richard Andree. It was notable for introducing a variation on lithography, ensuring a notable reduction in production costs. The first edition was in 1881 followed by numerous further issues until 1937.
This map was part of the 1905 edition of the work, but was already out of date as Captain Scott had just returned from his first or “Discovery” expedition.
