Emil Reich
17 x 21 cm
The author of the work, Dr Emil Reich, included this map in his historical atlas to provide students with "rich material for thought". He asks, for example, why inventors and soldiers are so sparse in London relative to artists and authors, or why Yorkshire should have such a large number of scientists relative to other counties.
This is the first of three 'genius maps' included in Dr Emil Reich's Atlas of English History - Map II shows Scotland and Map III shows Ireland.
