This large, extraordinary poster with its vibrant red border advertises novel overflights of Paris in the early 1920s. It was commissioned from the artist Charles Hirlemann by the Compagnie Aerienne Francaise. The Aerodrome Le Bourget is still operational today and was the principal airport for Paris until the opening of Orly in 1932.
