This WW2-era map is the first pamphlet map designed by Harry Beck
since 1938 and the first of three trifold pamphlet maps issued by London Transport during the war. It is the only one of his trifold maps to use the short-lived interlocking
ring motif for interchanges. Planned extensions to the Central and Northern Lines
still appear on this edition but would be removed on his two later wartime maps.
Printed colour. Framed. [LDN6926]
