Charming separately issued folding map of England and Wales to be used as a game board in the Victorian period.
A route is marked on the board numbered from 1-102, beginning in St. Ives, Cornwall and finishing in London, having taken a long and circuitous route through the land; the board is designed to provide a geographical education as much as amusement for the participants.
A series of vignettes around the border show stately homes, important castles and sites throughout the country.
An unusual and charming piece of cartographic ephemera. [GB2107]
Original colour. [GB2109]
