Monaco Tourism Office
40 x 89 cm
Incongruously, the map was published during World War II, promoting Monaco as a tourist destination. It was designed by the architects, J. Fissore and V. Danoy for the Monaco Tourist Office. Bright colours denote parks, important buildings such as the Monaco train station, Monte Carlo Station, the Casino, the Library and the Monaco Admiralty Office. The famous seafront promenade is clearly marked. An inset on the upper right shows the principality in relation to the rest of the Cote d'Azur.
