The first atlas map of the Kingdom of France, based on four sheet map of Jean Jolivet published in 1560, whose name is on the title bar.
In his “Theatrum Orbis Terrarum”, considered the first atlas, Ortelius used this map of France between the first edition of 1570 and the English edition of 1606. After that, it was replaced by an updated map based on Petrus Plancius.
