Overview
Our collaboration with the designer and illustrator Kristjana S Williams, in partnership with the London Design Festival and Brompton Design, launched our brand new events space, the Mews Gallery.
We kicked off the "Art Cartography" collaborative exhibition with a private view on the evening of Thursday 18th September celebrating all that was design, art and map.
It was an incredibly successful evening and we would like to thank everyone that joined us on the launch night and over the course of the show.
By delving into our collection we were able to help Kristjana choose a number of maps to spark curiosity and inspire the creative process. Our digital images created the foundations of Kristjana’s trademark collage’s, representing different parts of the world in an inimitable and exciting way. The exhibition also introduced Kristijana’s three-dimensional works, large layered maps of inscrutable detail and clever design. Our partnered curation of these pieces was a great success.
Thanks to Sipsmith Independent Distillers sponsored us and ran the absolutely fabulous cocktail bar – introducing our very own 'Map House Mules'!
