Regni Neapolitani Verissima
Southern Italy orientated East to West from Ascoli to the southern shore. This is the first atlas map of the region and it is based on the map made by Pirro Ligurio. As well as being a noted map maker, Ligurio was an architect and antiquary. He was one of the early architects of St. Peter's of Rome but was asked to leave after a dispute with Michaelangelo.
