Bacon's New Large-Scale map of North London and Suburbs
Large-scale folding map of Northwest London including Hampstead, Primrose Hill, St. John's Wood, Finsbury, and Islington. Regent's Park marks the southern limit of the map, while Mill Hill, Palmers Green, and Edmonton are the northern limit. Most of this area was still undeveloped farmland when this edition of this map was published. Later editions show the rapid development of the northern suburbs in what became known as 'Metroland'.
